Chapter 6-9 (Mark 6:1-9:50)

Roger Forster, February 17, 2010
Part of the Mark series, preached at a Right Through the Bible service

Roger looks at the feeding of the 5,000 and its symbolic place in the ministry of Jesus. In chapter eight we hear Peter's confession and learn that discipleship is costly. In chapter nine we see the 'wide vision' of discipleship. In chapter 10 we learn that discipleship means taking up our cross and following Jesus, and that the place of the true discipleship is the place of humility, service and least status, just as a little child.
