Jeremiah Overview ()

Roger Forster, March 24, 2011
Part of the Jeremiah series, preached at a Right Through the Bible service

Jeremiah, the longest of the major prophets, has a reputation for prophesying misery and judgment, and his suffering identifies him as a type of christ. However, each of the four major sections of the book end with an appendix of hope. Jeremiah includes seven messianic pictures of Jesus, including how he was of the line of David. There is an emphasis on the covenant. (59 mins)
