Chapter 21 is the climax of the book of Joshua. Chapters 13-20 describe the inheritance of 11 tribes of Israel and chapter 21 describes the inheritance of the Levites. Their duties were to teach the law and offer sacrifices, which both brought pleasure to God. The church is like the Levites, as we teach God's will and as we worship Jesus. However, our inheritance is the whole earth, not just 48 cities. (34 mins)
