What is Rooted?
Rooted is a 6-month discipleship course with Ichthus for young adults (18-23 years) that will strengthen the roots and foundations of your life in Jesus. We aim to give any young person who joins Rooted the confidence and strength to embark on a faith filled life with Jesus, ready to make a difference for Him in the world.
The first 3 months will be spent in London where you will be immersed in inner city life, evangelism, church ministry, inspirational teaching, and exciting new experiences.
The next two months will be spent in Nepal where you will be encouraged to step out into new challenges and possibilities in a spirit filled ichthus work, alongside nationals who are living for Jesus in their nation.
You will return to London for the last weeks of Rooted to debrief, pray in to your future, join in an outreach week in London, and be inspired for all the lord has for you.
In Rooted you will learn through a blend of teaching, discussions, team work, personal challenge, serving, encouragement and mentoring.
Please note accommodation will be in Ichthus House, Forest Hill while in London, and it is very likely you will need to share a room.
