Finance and Systems Manager

We are seeking a Finance and Systems Manager to support the whole Fellowship in its work – both in the local churches in London, the UK, link churches in the UK and other parts of the world and our Ichthus overseas missions family. The Finance and Systems Manager is an essential member of the Ichthus central office team who will liaise with and report regularly to the Management Team, Ministry Team (Fellowship Leadership Team) and Trustees.
The Finance and Systems Manager must have a mature Christian faith along with the following essential skills:
- A business finance or accountancy qualification and track record in whole organisation financial processes and reporting management
- Experience of managing IT infrastructure, software and hardware and property systems, along with all compliance, maintenance and resourcing requirements
- Experience of building and maintaining Microsoft Office and SharePoint environments
- Managing and administrating payroll, banking and pensions processes
They will pray for the work of the Fellowship, see their role as part of their wholistic Christian ministry and have faith for the increase of people and financial resources to support the work. The successful candidate will be an active member of a local evangelical church with an understanding of church-based mission and whose own theological and doctrinal position is aligned with that of the Ichthus Christian Fellowship and Evangelical Alliance.

This role is full-time, permanent. As a faith-based movement, salary will be offered towards the top end of our salary range in the region of £35,000 per annum.
There is an occupational requirement that the job-holder is a Christian under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010. Due to the nature of the role with finance, a DBS check at Basic level will be required.
