Get involved in ‘Hosanna in the City’ in London this Easter
As Jesus was entering Jerusalem in the days before he was crucified…
“..the crowds that went before him and those that followed shouted,
“Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest!””
In Luke 19, we read of the spontaneous joy and praise springing up because of the wonderful things Jesus had done…
“the whole crowd of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the miracles which they had seen, shouting:
“Blessed is the King, the One who comes in the name of the Lord;
Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
In this same spirit, we will be raising a ‘Hosanna’ this Easter from the 13th-18th April 2025 and welcoming our glorious Jesus into London! Please join us for a week of praise, prayer and proclamation!! The route and timings can be found below…
Each day of Hosanna in the City will begin at 6pm (3pm on Friday) with a gathering of worship on the streets, prayer for the city and sharing the gospel with anyone and everyone who gathers with us. Phil Tate will be carrying his full-size cross as a powerful visual representation of our message, and we will have a mobile worship team including drum kit on wheels! We would also like to invite YOU to bring along your handheld instruments, flags and banners to raise in worship.
After an initial 40 minute gathering at the meeting point, we will prayer walk to the next stop on the route, carrying the cross and worshipping as we go. If you can’t walk the whole way, you can join in for corporate worship time and outreach then turn back whenever you feel tired, or hop on a bus!
