Impact London With Jesus’ Love
The Summer Project is an intensive training course, offer ing a challenging teaching programme together with practical experience of evangelism in London. It’s seven days packed full of outreach, worship, ministry and teaching with sessions from Ichthus leaders and special guests. Deepen your understanding of the theology of mission in the context of a lively church and gain practical experience as faith is translated into action.
Training
Root yourself deeper into God’s word. Each weekday morning is made up of three teaching sessions, covering everything from deep but accessible theology to practical workshops. There are also times of worship and prayer and opportunities to be refreshed in the Holy Spirit.
Outreach
After lunch we head off in teams to share the gospel, running a whole range of evangelistic activities at Ichthus congregations. Experience different forms of evangelism at open airs, sport sessions and community barbecues, as the week builds towards a big Saturday outreach event. Use your talents and try new things, all the time supported by friendly team leaders.
Invest
A Summer Project week is a great investment in your faith, growth and understanding as a follower of Jesus. A typical week on Summer Project kicks off with devotions and worship followed by teaching inputs balancing street level theology and training workshops on evangelism. Titles may include: Your Identity in Christ, How and why read the Bible, Spiritual warfare and prayer, Radical church history, Leading someone to Christ, Sharing the Gospel with Muslims, Urban challenges to the Gospel and Discovering your gifts.

A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
