The Ichthus Link Church network spreads across the UK from north to south and east to west; Edinburgh to Southampton and East Cardiff to East London. We share the same core Ichthus values and carry God’s heart for the whole of the nation to be reached with the good news of Jesus.
We do not hold legal or financial responsibility for our Link Churches as we do with the London congregations, but share in spiritual support and relationship, as expressed on the LINK HAND displayed above.
THEOLOGY of Jesus as the anointed Son of God and head of his church is first. Roger’s teaching and Spirit-led biblical insight are a key part of our relationships together as we hold fast to being Christocentric, Radical and Eschatological. This is expressed in the Ichthus monthly Bible Stream.
PROPHETIC PRAYER is central to our link church relationships. We recognise that God has called us to be a praying movement in priestly faithfulness but also in prophetic responsiveness, able to pray for link churches and the situations they are facing each day. Many Ichthus Link leaders join the Ichthus Worship, Prayer and Fasting Conference every March.
EVANGELISM support and training around the UK gets us really excited down in London! Serving Link Churches with outreach teams and training is our way of seeing the nation reached with the gospel through the local church. Check out the Summer Project and City on a Hill for more details!
FELLOWSHIP is central. Even though we have a whole range of events and resources to share, we believe in building relationships with God’s people living in the wide range of different towns, villages and cities around the nation. This is our heart for Link Churches at Revive every summer, and the Link Leaders Conference every January.
TRAINING is a major part of our calling in the UK. Everything from RadNet to Bible Stream to Summer Project is available to our UK Link Churches. It is our heart that people are able to learn and train with us in London and then take up God’s calling on their lives wherever He may send them around the nation. We pray that all our Ichthus Link leaders are able to constantly be trained and taught by the Lord as we seek him together in structured and relational settings.
The prophetic prayer is the POINTING FINGER, to help with seeking God for guidance. The evangelism finger is the LONGEST, encouraging God’s church to stand up tall for Jesus. The fellowship finger is the RING FINGER, building up one another in love for Jesus the bridegroom, and the training finger is the SMALLEST – able to get into every detail and know God’s deep work of transformation in our lives. The theology is the THUMB because it touches all the other four, our theology of who God is brings everything else to life!
