Sunday 4th Dec, 5:30pm – Carols by Candlelight – ‘Your Light Has Come’
Bonhoeffer Church, 50 Dacres Road, SE23 2NR
You are warmly invited to join us for a special evening of beautiful carols sung by a chamber choir accompanied by chamber orchestra, readings and a Christmas message. We will focus on light this year and Jesus being the light of the world prophesied by Isaiah almost 1000 years be He was born. Enjoy fellowship over mulled wine and mince pies after the service, all in the picturesque setting of the Bonhoeffer in glowing candlelight.
Sunday 11th Dec, 5:30pm and 8.00pm – The Christmas Extravaganza – ‘His Light Shines in the Darkness’

This annual Christmas celebration is full of fun, and gets right to the heart of the Christmas message – that Jesus was born into this world to turn darkness into light, fear into faith and sorrow into joy. Absolutely EVERYONE is invited to the Extravaganza, whoever you are and wherever you are from. Be amazed by our gospel choir, live band, moving acting, original drama and powerful preach!
There are 2, yes 2 showings this year!!
5:30pm – Matinee Performance –An earlier show for families and those who need to get to bed. This performance will have a shorter talk and fun activities for little ones.
8:00pm – Evening Performance – Come for the same show again at a more relaxed pace, fuller message and time for mingling at the end with refreshments.
Both events are FREE OF CHARGE.
