In 2 Timothy 3, Paul warns against the world's opposition to the gospel and the seduction of a 'form of godliness' (v5) in the church, and exhorts Timothy to 'abide' (v14) in the Old Testament and New Testament teaching with apostolic authority. In chapter four he challenges Timothy to 'preach the word' (v2) that transforms, holding fast to the solemnity of the task he has been called to, and to follow Paul's example. (80min)
