Roger looks at the death of Stephen chapter seven and Philip in chapter eight. We look at the centrality of the temple in Jewish culture, and then at Stephen's vision of Jesus and stoning. Then we are introduced to Saul as the first martyr is followed by the first persecution, which leads to the spread of the gospel through the scattering of the believers. In particular we look at Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch. (132min)
